Bringing together community residents, organizers, business people and policy makers in the neighborhoods of the Lower East Side, Williamsburg, Bushwick and Fort Greene, youth producers cast their cameras on the politics of race, class and economic development as communities fight to make housing affordable for all.

This film documents a two-week visit to Palestine by a group of international peace activists in the autumn 2005. As well as visiting Jerusalem and Bethlehem the group stayed in two small rural towns in the West Bank working with the farmers harvesting their olives. Made using just a pocket video camera, but with the sense of presence and reality that the activist’s viewpoint brings, the film aims to present a concise understanding of the history, politics, geography, and culture of Palestine.

Farmworkers returning from picking tomatoes bought by companies, such as McDonald's, show hands stained with pesticides and heavy with hard work.

The Coalition of Immokalee Workers is declaring that they are tired, in the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, of "relying on the goodwill and understanding of those who profit from exploiting us," and are escalating their campaign to convince fast food companies to end human rights violations in their supply chains.
